Telegram

Connect Start to a Telegram bot to stay on top of agent activity when you're away from your desk. Answer questions, receive notifications, and create tasks — all from your phone.

Setup

1. Create a bot via @BotFather on Telegram
2. Copy the bot token
3. In Start, open Settings (Cmd+,) → Integrations
4. Paste the token and save

Start connects automatically and reconnects if the connection drops.

What you can do from Telegram

Answer agent questions remotely

When an agent needs your input, the question is forwarded to Telegram with inline buttons for each option. Tap a button or type a free-text answer. Multi-question batches are sent all at once.

Receive notifications

Key events are pushed to your Telegram chat:

• Agent finished or encountered an error
• Agent waiting for input
• Critical system pressure
• Scheduled job fired
• Autopilot task failed

Notifications use two tiers — audible (with sound) for important events, silent for informational updates.

Create tasks

Use the bot to add tasks to your board without opening the app.

Forum topics

Each chat session can map to its own Telegram forum topic (thread), keeping conversations organized when multiple agents are running.
