Download and install Start on macOS.
Start is available for macOS, with Windows and Linux coming soon.
Download
Grab the latest .dmg from the releases page:
- Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) —
Start_x.x.x_aarch64.dmg - Intel —
Start_x.x.x_x64.dmg
Install
- Open the
.dmgfile - Drag Start.app into Applications
- Launch from Applications or Spotlight
If macOS shows an "unidentified developer" warning, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.

Updating
Start doesn't auto-update yet. Download new releases from the releases page and replace the app in your Applications folder.
