Switching
Click the model indicator in the prompt bar to cycle to the next model. You can also use arrow keys while the input is focused.
Model selection is saved per session — switching to Haiku in one session won't affect your other sessions.
Choosing the right model
Use Opus when you need the agent to reason through complex problems or make architectural decisions. Use Sonnet for everyday coding tasks. Use Haiku when you need quick answers or are iterating rapidly. Different models have different token costs, so matching model to task complexity keeps things efficient.
