Paste screenshots and images directly into your messages.

Attach images to give the agent visual context — screenshots of bugs, design mockups, error dialogs, or architecture diagrams.

Pasting images

  1. Take a screenshot (Cmd+Shift+4 or any method)
  2. Click the chat input
  3. Cmd+V to paste

The image appears as a thumbnail above the input. You can attach multiple images per message. Click x on a thumbnail to remove it.

Supported formats

PNG, JPEG, WebP, and GIF.

When to use attachments

Attachments are especially useful when something is hard to describe in text — a UI that looks wrong, a terminal error with specific formatting, or a design mockup you want the agent to implement. The agent can analyze the image and reference specific details in its response.
